In addition, Philippe Laurent presides over the French Association of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (AFCCRE), co-presides the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), and the High Council of the Territorial Civil Service (CSFPT), thus combining municipal leadership with advocacy for local governance at national and European levels.
